Fall Fun With the Herman Family

I recently did a shoot with my cousin’s family so we could take advantage of the leaves and beauty of the NIU campus. Their son Sam was super shy at first and just wanted to chase after the geese, finally warmed up to me and my camera once we set him in a pile of leaves and started throwing them around. After that, he was all smiles and giggles! Below is my favorite shot of him from the day, and also my entry for the Rock the Shot contest!

 

 

 

I have been reading Rock the Shot blog posts and Facebook updates for a while, drooling over the idea of being able to join the forum. At this point in time I am putting my income to other uses, but someday I’ll buy a subscription and get to join the talented group of people over there!
